| This one-day class is intended for parents who are planning a vaginal
birth after cesarean (VBAC) and would like special attention paid to their
needs. This class will focus on creating a positive mindset for
birthing normally, review what you would like to do differently and/or the
same from your past birth experience(s), build on your coping skills,
discuss how to involve and prepare older siblings for the birth and the new
baby, and connect with other parents who
are sharing a similar experience. You will identify what worked and what
didn't in your past birth(s), and spend a day focusing on this
pregnancy. The class is 8-hours and allows time for parents to connect
to this pregnancy, this baby, and each other.
"My husband and I took your VBAC
class in January and I wanted to let you know that I had a wonderfully
successful delivery by VBAC........It was an incredible experience!...I just
wanted to say thank you again for the class and for being an important part
of my path to feeling powerful and confident about birthing." AB
"My
husband and I are so glad we took this class. It gave him a little more
understanding of what I and the other women went through, and it helped me
process my first birth so that I feel in a better place mentally for my
upcoming birth. I appreciated Angie's teaching style and her suggestions
for helping shape our birth preferences (as opposed to having a birth plan)
for this birth as well as coping techniques. She also has helped me gain
confidence that this can be a positive experience whether I have a
successful VBAC or if end up with a CBAC." NC
