Why attend a lesbian
women-only childbirth education class? Well, have you ever felt
like the "token lesbian" in a gathering of people? Then this is the class
for you. This class was created to provide a safe and comfortable space to
explore pregnancy, birth, and motherhood within the context of being a
lesbian couple.
You get all the content,
interaction, and activities of a full childbirth preparation series in a Friday
night, and all-day Saturday and Sunday format. Classes run from
6:30-9:30pm on Friday evening, and all day Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am to
5:00pm.
Lesbian Weekend immersions are
offered once a quarter. Class fee is $250 per couple (other support
people are welcome to attend the full series for an additional $25).
A sliding fee scale is available.
