Birth 101 - The basics of being born What
do you know about birth? If you're like most people, you know very
little. Come learn what birth is all about in this engaging and
fascinating class. Learn what causes labor to start, why it's
harder for women than animals, how women got through labor hundreds of years
ago, and how women get through labor today. Find out about the secret
connection between birth and peace (yes, there really is a connection).

- The Listening Mothers groups offer a unique opportunity for
parents to encounter the joy of parenting. The research based curriculum
will turn the present moment into a pleasant moment. For parents of

Birth Doula Workshops -
enCircle Birth Doula Workshops are a unique format for
preparing you to be a doula. The small-group format allows
for in-depth discussion of topics and more individualized attention than a
large class can offer. Workshops are offered in Seattle in
either an evening or weekday series format.

This residential workshop will combine lecture-based learning with
experiential learning, movement, writing, dialog, art, meditation, ceremony,

Birth Trauma Support
Group - A support group for women who have experienced a
traumatic birth. This group will be facilitated using storytelling, art
(sketching/painting/clay) and/or journaling. Led by experienced mentor,
Angie Dobbins. Any woman who suffered trauma while giving birth,
whether vaginally or by cesarean, is welcome to attend. This group
meets the fourth Wednesday of every month, from 7:00-10:00 pm.
Session fee is $10.
